We are seeking a customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. This role involves preparing, packaging, and displaying deli products while ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and excellent service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product selection and recommendations
• Prepare, slice, package, and label deli items according to safety standards
• Maintain product freshness through stock rotation and proper storage
• Operate equipment such as rotisserie ovens and deep fryers for hot food preparation
• Ensure signage and pricing accuracy and support front-end associates with price checks
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, including sanitation of tools and workstations
• Handle special orders and customer requests in a courteous, professional manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe deli area at all times

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, retail, or customer service is an asset
• Basic understanding of food handling and safety practices (training provided)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs

Pay: From $18.05 per hour
