With our business growing needs, Foreseeson Technology Inc. is seeking a Manager, Software Systems & Digital Solutions to lead the development, management, and continuous improvement of the company’s software platforms, digital systems, and technology infrastructure supporting EV charging and Energy Storage Solution operations, electronics manufacturing, IT distribution, inventory management, customer service, and internal business functions. This position reports to Senior Management.
Full-time, Permanent
Expected pay for this position is CA$150, 000 per year (Final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and alignment with the role)

Core Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- The Manager, Software Systems & Digital Solutions will be responsible for:
- Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the operations of the company’s software systems, digital platforms, and business applications supporting EV charging, Energy Management System, electronics manufacturing, IT distribution, inventory management, customer service, and internal business functions.
- Managing software development, system integration, and platform enhancement projects, including requirements analysis, solution design, development planning, testing, deployment, documentation, maintenance, user support, and continuous improvement.
- Meeting with internal departments, clients, vendors, and technology partners to define business requirements, system requirements, technical specifications, project scope, implementation timelines, budgets, and service expectations.
- Assembling, supervising, and coordinating cross-functional technical teams including software developers, QA and testing personnel, systems analysts, IT specialists, data and reporting personnel, external consultants, and technology vendors.
- Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and technical standards for software development, data management, cybersecurity, system access, quality assurance, release management, and technology project delivery.
- Managing project budgets, technical resources, vendor deliverables, system performance, delivery quality, and implementation risks to ensure technology projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with business and technical requirements.
- Recruiting, supervising, and overseeing the professional development and training of software developers, systems analysts, QA personnel, IT specialists, and other technical staff.
- Evaluating existing software systems and digital workflows, and leading innovation and integration initiatives to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, cybersecurity, reporting, scalability, and operational support, including integrating AI-driven features into the company’s software systems and digital platforms.
- Other related tasks assigned by the senior management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, information systems, computer engineering, or a related technical field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience managing software systems, digital platform delivery projects, or related technical teams is required.
- Experience managing the software development life cycle is required.
- Experience with business systems, enterprise applications, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, reporting tools, cybersecurity controls, software architecture, or system integration is required.
- Experience developing and implementing technical policies, procedures, and standards is required.
- Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, technical risks, vendor deliverables, user requirements, and cross-department communication is required.
- Experience with recruiting and training technical staff is required.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, project management, communication, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills are required.
- Experience with EV charging platforms, energy management systems, IoT systems, software-enabled hardware systems, ERP or CRM systems, IT distribution platforms, or related industry systems is an asset.
- Experience with hardware and software integration, manufacturing workflows, logistics systems, managed IT services, external vendors, channel partners, or system integration partners is an asset.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools or integrating AI-driven features into software systems or digital platforms is an asset.
