The Opportunity

This Camp position is based in Wabasca on a 14/7 schedule. As the ERW operator you are responsible for providing our clients with best-in-class service. Your responsibilities include operating a specialized mobile rig used to join, repair, or build continuous sucker rod strings and the maintenance of Lifting Solutions equipment under your control while performing service work at a well site.

Your Responsibilities

In alignment with the Lifting Solutions culture, mission, vision and values, you will be responsible to:

• Operate the ERW service units and oversee all tasks performed during the well services
• Properly handle continuous rod to eliminate risk exposure and ensure product integrity for downhole performance
• Perform all required preventative maintenance checks, inspections, and tasks
• Comply with all industry, regulatory, and company standards, regulations and policies
• Demonstrate a high level of safety leadership on and off the wellsite through daily safety meetings, JSA review, hazard assessments, and safety drills
• Maintain and promote positive relationships with our clients
• Maintain a highly clean working environment on the client’s wellsite and in the service unit
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed thoroughly, accurately, and timely as required

Your Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Valid industry training certificates including, but not limited to H2S Alive and Standard First Aid/CPR
• Minimum 1 years’ experience working in the oil and gas well servicing industry
• Well-servicing industry experience specializing in continuous rod handling is considered an asset
• Since this position is considered safety sensitive, this position requires a negative alcohol & drug test, audio-metric testing and physical assessment
