Supply Chain Coordinator at Irving Shipbuilding

As a Supply Chain Coordinator you will support internal stakeholders through a range of administrative and coordination activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth supply chain operations, accurate documentation, and effective stakeholder engagement.

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will manage key documentation processes, support supplier onboarding activities, and contribute to contract preparation and quality assurance. You will also serve as the first point of contact for Supply Chain Engagement Requests, helping to triage and connect requests with the appropriate teams.

  • Manage the flow and organization of documents within Windchill, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Lead supplier whitelisting activities through 3PI and other information portals
  • Receive and process invoices to support timely invoice matching
  • Maintain oversight of Supply Chain document policies and ensure adherence
  • Coordinate contract tailoring with relevant Part Owners
  • Perform quality control checks on tailored contract documents
  • Package and deliver complete contract documentation to Procurement Specialists
  • Act as the first point of contact for all Supply Chain Engagement Requests (SCERs), performing initial triage and engaging appropriate stakeholders
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in an administrative or coordination role
  • Post-secondary education (Diploma preferred)
  • Experience in a general office or administrative environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and manage competing priorities
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
