En tant qu’Associé au développement des affaires vous identifierez et développerez des relations stratégiques avec des clients potentiels et présenteriez des opportunités stratégiques de fournisseurs. Vous aideriez les ventes à développer un solide pipeline de nouvelles opportunités commerciales par le biais de contacts directs et indirects avec les clients et la prospection de prospects. Vous collaboreriez avec les équipes de marketing, de ventes, de gestion des catégories et de développement de produits pour mettre en œuvre des initiatives de développement commercial.
Responsabilités
- Coordonner avec les ventes, le marketing et la gestion des catégories pour identifier les opportunités de clients potentiels et suivre un processus de développement de ces prospects en opportunités potentielles.
- Fournir à la direction une analyse qualitative et quantitative du pipeline de développement commercial et de son état d'avancement.
- Élaborer et utiliser des outils qualitatifs et quantitatifs pour développer une analyse tactique et stratégique du client, y compris le potentiel de revenus, la probabilité de conversion, les coûts, les risques et les avantages.
- Faciliter et entretenir les relations avec les équipes de vente, de marketing et de gestion des catégories de l'unité commerciale afin d'assurer le maintien d'un solide pipeline d'opportunités établi par la direction.
- Responsable de la création et de la distribution de rapports mensuels résumant les activités de développement commercial et d'intégration.
- Améliorer et maintenir une approche standardisée pour la collecte d'informations sur les profils d'entreprise, y compris le contexte financier, afin de présenter à la direction des acquisitions stratégiques et des candidats à des coentreprises.
Qualifications
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent requis ; un diplôme de premier cycle est préférable.
- Connaissance et expérience requises en matière de services financiers/développement commercial (2 à 3 ans).
- Maîtrise de Microsoft Office et capacité à effectuer des tâches informatiques de base.
- Compétences analytiques en finance et en comptabilité, y compris la maîtrise de l'analyse des états financiers et de la réalisation de modèles financiers.
- Capacité à diriger la mise en œuvre de projets de petite à moyenne envergure. Capable d'animer des réunions et de développer des livrables de qualité orientés vers le détail à l'appui de diverses initiatives de développement commercial.
- Sens de l'organisation et capacité à établir des priorités dans un environnement où le rythme est soutenu.
- Compétences interpersonnelles et capacité à communiquer, à l'écrit et à l'oral, et à interagir avec tous les niveaux de personnel au sein de l'organisation.
- Capacité à s'adapter à des priorités changeantes, à respecter les délais et à bien travailler sous pression.

As a Business Development Associate, you will identify and develop strategic relationships with potential customers and introduce strategic supplier opportunities. You will assist Sales in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct and indirect customer contact and lead prospecting. You will partner with Marketing, Sales, Category Management and Product Development teams to implement business development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with Sales, Marketing and Category Management to identify customer lead opportunities and follow a process for developing those leads into potential opportunities.
- Provides qualitative and quantitative business development pipeline analysis and ongoing status to management.
- Develops and utilizes qualitative and quantitative tools to develop tactical and strategical customer business case, including revenue potential, probability for conversion, costs, risks, and benefits.
- Facilitates and maintains relationships with the business unit Sales, Marketing and Category Management teams to ensure on-going cultivation of robust pipeline of opportunities established by management.
- Responsible for creating and distributing monthly reports summarizing business development and integration activities.
- Enhances and maintains standardized approach for collecting information on business profiles including financial background for presenting strategic acquisitions and joint venture candidates to management.
Qualifications
- High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in financial service/business development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to perform basic computer skills
- Analytical skills in finance and accounting, including proficiency in analyzing financial statements and completing financial models
- Ability to lead the implementation of small to medium scale projects
- Capable of facilitating meetings and developing detail-oriented quality deliverables in support of various business development initiatives
- Organizational skills with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Interpersonal skills with ability to communicate, written and verbal, and interact with all levels of personnel within organization
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
- Ability to concurrently manage moderately complex and parallel projects that include multiple stakeholders
- Ability to Identify and clarify/define problems and possible solutions independently
- Ability to work independently with general supervision, while establishing priorities of others in one or more department, including exercising judgment to make decisions within scope of assigned authority
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Compensation Details: $69,387 - $90,203 Annually
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
