Job Description

We are currently searching for a Senior Software Developer (Full Stack Developer) in our Calgary Office. This is a contract position for six (6) months with the opportunity for extension.

The successful candidate a dynamic team in Corporate IT. You are a talented professional who is proficient in backend technologies (SQL Server, .NET Core, RESTful APIs) and frontend technologies (ReactJS, MobX, MVVM). Adaptability is crucial, as the team works with a variety in technologies. You are adept at managing all stages of the software development life cycle from the beginning to the end.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and develop user-friendly interfaces using React.js and Next.js.
  • Build robust APIs with .NET Core.
  • Optimize SQL queries and manage databases.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts.
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
  • Write technical documentation.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

What you will bring:

  • Ten (10) years experience in software development.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • Ability to work with different REST APIs and consume data through GET, PUT, and POST calls
  • Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, Mobx, Git, and MVVM.
  • Familiarity with common stacks.
  • Strong SQL Server skills.
  • Passion for innovation and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with development in Microsoft Dynamics FO (ERP) is a plus.
