Shift/Hours: Full and Part Time Availability - 8:00am to 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $15-$25/Hour

In this role, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, from performing routine maintenance to assisting with complex repairs.

Responsibilities:
* Assist in Repairs: Support senior mechanics in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive issues, including engine, transmission, and brake problems. Learn to identify and troubleshoot mechanical failures effectively.
* Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements under the guidance of experienced technicians.
* Use of Tools and Equipment
* Assist in communicating with customers regarding vehicle issues and maintenance services.
* Help maintain a clean/organized work environment, including keeping the shop area tidy, and following all safety protocols
* Assist in documenting repairs and services performed, including keeping accurate records of parts used and labor hours worked. Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.

Candidate Qualifications:
* Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is preferred
* Completion of a post-secondary or other programs in an automotive field will be an asset
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
* Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
* A genuine interest in cars and mechanical systems is essential
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically about repairs
* Good verbal skills for interacting with customers and team members
* Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various conditions
