In this pivotal role, you'll report directly to the Sales Manager and play a key part in driving Quadra’s success. You’ll have the opportunity to achieve sales targets while developing emerging accounts through innovative sales and marketing initiatives. As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll connect regularly with our established clients while also prospecting and qualifying exciting new leads. This position is ideal for someone eager to enhance their sales expertise and propel their career to new heights.

Responsibilities Include

  • Acquire and maintain good working knowledge of our product portfolio and services.
  • Identify and fully qualify potential new accounts and evaluate sales potential for Quadra products within the assigned territory.
  • Build credibility for the company and always generate customer trust through professional conduct!
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with proven ability to adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Using our CRM, fully maintain detailed records of prospects, and customer contacts, sales call, samples and opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit sales forecasts.
  • Complete and submit to the Business Segment Manager, an updated strategic Territory Plan Report including achievements and plans for future growth.
  • Report any changes in business trends, customer concerns, market dynamic sand competitor activity.
  • Participate in training to enhance product and sales knowledge.
  • Attend sales meetings as directed by the Business Manager and/or Sales Manager.
  • Develop and maintain a minimum of 5 key development accounts at all times.
  • Plan pre-call agendas on important accounts in the territory with the Sales Manager.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Post-secondary diploma and/or bachelor’s degree in science, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Experience in one or more of the following sectors: bakery, bars, snacks, cereals, or candy.
  • Proven experience in the food industry, preferably food ingredients.
  • Professional experience interacting with external customers would be an asset.
  • Ability and determination to seek out and pursue new business opportunities and make cold calls and prospect over the phone.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • You must be bilingual (French / English), both written and spoke.n
  • Team player accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess a high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability.
  • Demonstrate initiative, self-reliance, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to handle pressure.
  • Strong computer skills (ideally with a CRM such as Salesforce and be able to work effectively with the Office 365 suite).
  • Ability to motivate oneself, demonstrate autonomy, learn new technologies and adapt to new situations..
  • Excited to contribute to a high-performance culture.
