What You Can Expect When Joining The Team

Based out of Edmonton  and reporting to the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Petal’s innovative medical billing solution named Xacte and StatGo, to healthcare professionals, agencies and clinics.

Experience in SaaS sales as well as excellent relationship building, negotiation, and technical skills will enable you to be successful in this role. Experience in a medical environment is a major asset.

Your daily life

In your day to day, you will be led to:

  • Gain a deep understanding of our medical billing products and how the solutions can help simplify the lives of physicians;
  • Proactively source new sales opportunities through prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and referrals;
  • Qualify leads from digital campaigns, organic traffic, tradeshows and webinars;
  • Develop strong relationships with potential clients, truly understand their needs and requirements;
  • Conduct discovery calls, product demos and webinars, demonstrating the medical billing solution’s value proposition and ROI;
  • Manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, tracking all sales activities, client interactions, and progress through Salesforce CRM;
  • Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to provide client feedback, market insights, and help refine sales strategies and product offerings;
  • Represent the company at tradeshows and industry events when needed.

Your profile

Are you a tech-savvy, self-motivated sales professional, known for your discipline and “hunter” mentality? Are you looking for an opportunity to participate in a high growth company within healthcare? The sky is the limit! If you have:

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the Software or Technology industry;
  • A natural capacity to understand customer needs and provide a personalized experience;
  • Exceptional consultative selling skills and closing skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills;
  • A strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas;
  • A high level of self-motivation with a proactive approach to work;
  • Effective at handle objections and finding solutions during the sales process;
  • Good knowledge of effective sales principles and techniques;
  • Experience selling within the healthcare sector (strong asset);
  • Since you will be regularly interacting with English-speaking clients located outside of Québec, proficiency in English (spoken, written, and read) is required.
