The Factory Logistics Supervisor supports the Logistics Department within the Rexdale Plant in the following manner:

  • Responsible for tactical factory logistics operations, including outbound shipment schedule adherence, inbound off loading and put away, and line replenishment
  • Accountable to deliver daily schedule adherence, logistics cost savings, customer service, and inventory accuracy at the site
  • Implement process improvement through operational scorecards and WCM methods
  • Execute the product group and site level factory logistics strategy
  • Support internal and external operational benchmarking activities

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be

  • Lead site distribution operational processes
  • Support and provide back up for Production Shift Supervisors
  • Drive logistics cost reduction through optimization of inbound/primary transportation, and factory warehouse operations.
  • Execution of standardized logistics EWM / SAP systems, processes, and KPI’s
  • Customer service improvement through warehouse and transportation loss reduction using WCM tools and methodology
  • Carbon reduction through factory warehouse improvements, transportation efficiencies, and external collaboration activities
  • Execute product group and site logistics strategy
  • Manage site distribution labor pool including daily crew coverage.
  • Manage warehouse supplies
  • Manage Chep pallet inventory
  • Maintain Forklifts
  • Lead Monthly and Annual Physical Inventory Counts

Experiences & Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years’ work experience with competencies in Warehouse Management Systems, Yard Management Systems, Business Operations
  • Inventory Management, Customer Service, Logistics and/or Supply Chain Planning knowledge
  • Operational Knowledge of Warehouse and Transportation Processes
  • Optimizing Supply Chain Integrated Performance
  • Strong Analytical & Systems Skills
  • Proficient in SAP and Excel
  • Strong Leadership and Influencing Skills
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement Process
  • Optimization of Supply Chain and Logistics KPI’s
  • Experience in shift supervision is appreciated
