Pay Range: $55.00 - $64.25
Job Description
The candidate will perform data analysis, data management, and program operations tasks to support the use of clinical and genomic real-world data in oncology research and development. In the process of performing this work, the candidate will communicate extensively with scientists, operations managers, clinical data managers, informatics scientists, and other data analysts.
Duties May Include
Performing cancer genomic data analyses with and without associated clinical data.
Workflow/program management: fielding requests for data, communicating with external partners, making data available internally for broader accessibility across the organization, metrics tracking.
Identifying opportunities to leverage genomic data to support research and development activities.
Supporting design, implementation, and improvement of workflow/program processes.
Communicating with collaborators to track usage of data in oncology R&D.
Working collaboratively to develop and maintain tools and resources for program workflows and data analyses (e.g. reference materials, FAQs, web portals, interactive apps).
Scheduling and leading meetings among stakeholders, managing minutes and action items.
Developing and distributing or presenting educational material to internal and external stakeholders.
Education
Master's degree in genomics, molecular biology, cancer biology, bioinformatics, epidemiology, or equivalent.
Required Skills
Cancer biology, cancer genomics, or cancer epidemiology background.
Experience working with real-world data (e.g. electronic health records, claims data)
Computational bioinformatics skills, proficient in R.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Good collaborator with excellent communication skills.
Desired Skills
Experience analyzing large genomic datasets (targeted DNA, RNA, whole exome)
Experience with data visualization and/or data management
Aptitude for project management
Familiarity with public and/or private genomic data resources (e.g. TCGA, cBioPortal, GENIE, etc.)
