About The Opportunity
Our Federal Government client is a Senior Facilitator Consultant to support a two-day event located in Toronto, Ontario. The department is seeking a contractor to facilitate and coordinate in-person meetings (referred to as the “Symposium”) with related organizations and local youth participants.
Provide tools and resources that enrich a youth’s service journey. The program supports a national movement to build a culture of service that empowers youth across Canada to make a positive impact in their community through supporting the delivery of volunteer service placements and micro-grants for youth-led initiatives.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Kick-Off Meeting – initial planning with the departments program
- Research objectives and expectations for the event
- Seek support from department funding and recruit youth to participate in the Symposium
- Draft communication pieces and event materials, translate documents
- Participate and facilitate the 2-day event
- Logistics Coordinating, Pre-Event Coordinating, Final Pre-Event Coordinating and post event debrief meeting
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Hold a valid reliability clearance
- Youth Program experience
- Facilitator experience
- English Essential
This is a 3 month contract.
