Job Description:

As a Solutions Engineer at KEV Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by working closely with schools and districts to design tailored solutions using our software. You will serve as the technical expert throughout the sales cycle, ensuring clients understand how our platform can solve their financial management challenges. This role blends technical knowledge with customer-facing interactions, making you a crucial link between the sales team and our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert with prospective clients and key stakeholders in all applicable phases of the sales cycle.
  • Deliver impactful and engaging product demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities of KEV Group's solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with product management, engineering, and support teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product improvements.
  • Partner with and participate in the strategy and direction of work set out by the Account Executive including but not limited to territory and account planning.
  • Acts as a KEV ambassador; attends events and tradeshows representing KEV.
  • Update the sales team on all new product features and assist in creating a solution for sales to demo.
  • Ad hoc projects as requested by VP of Sales

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering, pre-sales engineering, or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in different time zones
  • Ability to create big-picture software solutions.
