The Role

Overview of responsibilities

Recruitment – this is 80% of where you will spend your time

• Connect with top talent through diverse channels like job boards, social media, and referrals.
• Expertly vet candidates to find the perfect match for company needs.
• Conduct engaging interviews to assess skills and recommend standout candidates to hiring managers.

Reporting and Analysis – this is about 20% of the time over the course of the next 6 months

• Track recruitment metrics for informed decision-making and success evaluation.
• Keep hiring and department managers in the loop with timely updates on open positions.
• Stay ahead by staying updated on industry trends, labor markets, and trade regulations.

Education

• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Sales, Business Administration
• RPR certificate would be awesome but not an absolute requirement

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years experience as a recruiter
• Well skilled using software to solve problems. For example, using excel to track and report your results OR using advance search functions on Indeed to invite people to apply.
• Transferrable industry experience would be in: trades, construction, energy, utilities, manufacturing, distribution or transportation.
