Scanning Project

Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a Spruce Grove based provincial government office to hire a Scanner to join their team for a 1 month contract with potential of extension! This role would be starting asap.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Fujitsu FI-7700 scanners to digitize physical documents accurately and efficiently.
• Perform data entry and keyboarding tasks to ensure accurate record management.
• Organize and prepare documents for scanning, ensuring files are complete and properly aligned.
• Conduct quality control checks on scanned documents to verify clarity and accuracy.
• Maintain detailed logs and documentation related to scanning activities.
• Manage physical records, including lifting boxes up to 30 lbs and storing them according to protocol.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Experience with document scanning and data entry, with a strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Fujitsu FI-7700 or similar scanning equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work in an environment with physical paper, dust, and other particulates.
• Physically able to lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Closed-toed footwear is required for safety purposes.
