As a Consultant, Business Systems Analysis, you'll be responsible for vendor governance and third-party risk of key Hardware & Software vendors, upload and influence relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors and assist in decision making using data and analytics At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.   • Client Engagement & Relationship Management - You will need to build healthy working relationships and partnerships with your key clients, vendors, and peers and to contribute to the overall goals of HW/SW Vendor Governance
    • Help clients meet their business goals by providing better service and value. Focus on each client experience and make every interaction meaningful.
    • Establish and maintain healthy working relationships with business partners, suppliers, and peers.
    • Develops trusted adviser relationships and provide valued consulting advice to facilitate the effective management and completion of procurement initiatives.
    • Align procurement solutions with their business objectives. This role works with Supplier Risk Stakeholders, Relationship Managers and Business Leads to ensure CIBC’s supplier management framework is implemented.
  • Vendor Governance - Work with our vendors to manage contractual obligations and participate in vendor meetings on a regular basis.
    • Ensure the appropriate governance is followed and adhered to for all contracts.
    • Keep abreast of the industry knowledge, innovations and advancements in business practices and technologies.
    • Comply with CIBC’s Procurement and Supplier Governance policies and process.
  • Communication - You are highly skilled at both written and oral communication. You can effectively articulate issues / recommendations via your analyses
    • Listen, ask questions, and put yourself in the client’s shoes. Act like an owner by taking accountability for client issues, and know when to collaborate with others to build a better solution together.
  • Manage Multiple Priorities - Use effective self-management practices to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Who you are
  • You can demonstrate 2+ years of experience in procurement and/or supplier governance processes, practices, tools and templates
    • You have strong self-planning skills sufficient to plan your own assignments according to general work plans; ability to multi-task, plan and meet timelines.
    • You have strong written and oral communication skills
