Architecture49 is seeking an Experienced Architectural Technologist to join our Winnipeg team.
Applicants must live in, or be willing to relocate to Winnipeg, MB. We will provide a relocation allowance for the selected candidate, if required.

Responsibilities
- Producing technical design and contract documents in compliance with Owner’s Statement of Requirements, in collaboration with project teams.
- Working with senior team members to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements and regulations.
- Providing technical design solutions for facility construction including interior and exterior assemblies.
- Coordinating with internal production teams and project sub-consultants
- Providing technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced technical staff.
- Assisting with contract administration including site visits and working with construction contractors.
- Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college.
- 5+ years’ working as an Architectural Technologist for an Architectural consulting firm. Must have experience in commercial, institutional, healthcare, or industrial project types.
- Candidates must demonstrate substantial product knowledge, and an ability to detail architectural building systems, and put together full drawing packages suitable for tender.
- REVIT software experience is necessary.
- Preference given to candidates with understanding of BIM principles & workflows; Microsoft 365 environment; construction site experience; and Bluebeam
