THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking new team members to join us as Field Service Technicians. This position is based in Calgary, Alberta but requires frequent travel to client sites, often internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
WAGE: $65,000-$75,000 annually, base salary. There is an additional $310 earned per day while working in the field.
SHIFT: 8-hour shifts in the shop. On-call availability as needed in the field to national and international destinations to meet operational demands.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking new team members to join us as Field Service Technicians. This position is based in Calgary, Alberta but requires frequent travel to client sites, often internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Field operations including spooling, banding, clamping, and installation of downhole equipment.
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of tools and service equipment.
- Extensive fieldwork involving travel, often on short notice, including international travel.
- Traveling for extended periods (2-4 weeks at a time).
- Providing excellent customer support and fostering strong relationships with clients.
- Troubleshooting field issues and preparing field reports.
- Product distribution and deliveries to customers.
- Shop/inventory management, tracking, and equipment upkeep.
- Good Communication- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers.
- Adaptability/Flexibility - Capable of working independently and efficiently without supervision.
- Honesty/Integrity - Open and honest in conduct and holding oneself accountable for completing tasks.
- Computer Aptitude - Familiarity with essential software tools such as MS Outlook and Excel.
- Petroleum Technologist Degree is a definitive asset.
- Previous experience in the oilfield, telecommunications, or similar industry preferred.
- Electrical aptitude preferred, including the use of multimeters and basic electrical knowledge.
- Previous experience with downhole gauges/tools is an asset, but not required as training will be provided.
- Valid Canadian passport and driver's license required.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally for extended periods.
- Able to pass a background check and drug/alcohol testing.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including intermediate Excel and MS Office suite.
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in various environmental conditions, including extreme heat/cold weather, as well as high noise levels.
