Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and review routine and ad-hoc journal entries for month-end financial reporting.
  • Calculate, post, and reconcile monthly interest accruals, fees amortization, principal, and interest payments for Trimac's long-term debt.
  • Compile monthly financial statement packages for various companies within the organization.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly board packages, including updating MD&A (Management's Discussion and Analysis) charts and tables.
  • Perform the necessary calculations and reporting to ensure compliance with bank covenants.
  • Assist in asset and depreciation reconciliation and reporting.
  • Conduct bank and corporate account reconciliations.
  • Participate in other assigned duties and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Management Accounting:

  • Create non-standard reporting packages as requested by senior management.
  • Summarize large amounts of data to analyze key performance indicators.

Who You Are:

  • Keen attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of accounting standards and principles.
  • Proficiency in financial statement preparation.
  • Self-motivated and effective in collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Flexible in transitioning between independent and team-based projects.
  • Strong time management skills for handling multiple assignments in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications:

  • Current student in Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics, or equivalent degree/diploma.

Pay Range: Starting from USD $21.50/Hr.
