Role Overview
This position coordinates the intake assessments for all referrals to Millard Health, including making a determination of appropriate services. This may include coordinating any medical diagnostic, imaging, or medical assessments recommended by Millard Health Physicians. The position works in collaboration with referral sources, clients, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and appropriate services are coordinated to support return to work.
Your Client Services Coordinator responsibilities:
- Schedule services for clients. This involves reviewing the referrals to identify and clarify any missing information.
- Coordinate appropriate assessments and/or services for clients.
- Advise all stakeholders of all appointment dates and times.
- Ensure all barriers to participating in services at Millard Health have been addressed and resolved.
- Provide private referral sources with information and consultation about Millard Health Program/Services.
- Enter data accurately and completely into applicable computer programs.
- Participate in various committees focusing on issues related to admission criteria, process, and service delivery.
- Provide assistance and support to the rest of the admissions team.
Your experience and skills:
- University Degree with a major in nursing, psychology, social sciences, or other medical focus is preferred. Equivalencies may also be considered.
- Considerable experience in a business or health-related environment.
- Data entry experience and experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Microsoft Teams, and Excel).
- Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, and deal effectively with unusual circumstances/requests is required.
- Strong written, oral, and non-verbal communication skills are required.
- Fluency in a second language is an asset.

Salary: $56,552 to $62,802 per annum (Pay Grade 7)
This position is temporary for a period of up to one year with the possibility of extension or permanency. Final candidates for this position are required to undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment. Successful candidates must reside in Alberta and be able to work in person in our Edmonton (Millard Health) office as required by their position.
