Job Description: The TDS Infrastructure Business Management group focuses on overseeing all aspects of resourcing and capabilities that support the entirety of TD Securities, ranging from Front Office tooling for our traders to technology platforms that empower our Finance and Operations partners to run the TDS franchise. We aim to transform the organization by driving business decisions around a data driven culture and focusing on identifying large scale opportunities to empower the business to achieve its goals in the most efficient manner.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Manager, Business Management you will be managing and reporting on the resource expenses for TDS Technology Solutions. This requires leading the team of analysts maintaining and updating the internal resource management tool, ensuring it is up to date and accurate, and reconciling to the Workday and Finance.

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the business management function and play a key role in the development and implementation of strategies in support of the overall business strategy
  • Lead the resource management team of diverse technology portfolios
  • Manage the integrated implementation of processes in across multiple functional areas
  • Provide direction and input to complex, wide ranging enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert and where necessary participate in identifying, designing and testing solutions and supporting the implementation
  • Facilitate key discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audience
  • Coordinate with Tech Finance on the quarterly forecasts and plan for resource expenses
  • Complete ad hoc analysis and provide support to the overall Business Management function
  • Prioritize and manage own workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines
  • Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
  • Recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency
  • Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, program and project managers
  • Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units

Desired Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Seven or more years of relevant experience
  • Excellent analytical skills with finance knowledge
  • Ability to collaborate and build positive relationships
  • Ability to communicate well in writing and speaking
  • Ability to pay high attention to details
