In This Role, You Will
- Develop project strategies, goals, and plans that enable supply chain performance and effectiveness
- Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function which would include improving inventory and cost reduction practices
- Provide oversight through subject matter expertise for the execution and improvement of procurement and material control processes in collaboration with individual process owners
- Establish and utilize appropriate and effective KPIs aligned to operational objectives to improve supply chain performance
- Strategically and purposefully grow overall supply chain performance capabilities
- Build an accountable high-performance team focused on effectiveness and performance results
- Manage and sustain strategic relationships including those with employees, suppliers, customers and other key stakeholders
- Provide supply chain support for technical projects using best practice project management tools and processes while ensuring close collaboration and integration with Engineering, Sales and Project Management teams
- Provide change management leadership during business transformation initiatives
- Identify risks to procurement with a proactive plan for mitigation of risk
- Provide continuing programs of exploration for new materials, suppliers, and processes
- Ensure compliance with Moog policies, processes, and contractual requirements
- A strategic leader with strong leadership capabilities, business acumen and a customer mindset

- Ability to identify capability gaps and develop and stretch team members to meet their full potential
- Strong communication skills in the form of written, verbal, and formal presentation
- Knowledge of purchasing practices, ISO requirements and ERP systems (SAP experience an asset)
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of equivalent supply chain or program management in a manufacturing environment
- Supply chain certifications (SCMP, CIPP) would be an asset
