Job Description:
Working within the Security Compliance Management (SCM) pod, the Business Systems Analyst III's main function is to document, execute, and improve compliance management operations processes. These processes include cloud security, infrastructure security, and cyber technology compliance. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Security Compliance and Operations Management (SCOM) and works within the larger Crypto, Cloud and Infrastructure Security (CICS) team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the execution of the daily, weekly, and monthly security compliance operations processes, including monitoring, triage, notification, issue tracking, and escalation of non-compliance issues.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining process documents that include RACIs, process flows, and descriptions of tasks performed.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining runbooks that outline detailed steps to execute tasks.
- Responsible for engaging technology teams addressing non-compliance using various communication methods such as ServiceNow tickets, emails, instant messaging, or phone calls.
- Responsible for tracking responses from technology teams and producing timely updates on status of remediation efforts. Escalate tickets breaching SLA to technology owners and leadership.
- Produce operational reporting on a weekly and monthly basis that includes KRIs, KPIs, and commentary on trends. Develop new reporting methods, dashboards, and reports.
- Develop requirements for automation and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Document high level business requirements (UML Use Cases, system/technical requirements, Non-Functional Requirements, integration requirements, data mapping) for improving the Security Compliance Management program.
- Support ad-hoc triage and investigation into non-compliance issues and work with senior team members to provide updates to senior leadership on status and progress.
- Support creating executive summaries of successes, risks, and roadblocks within the program.
- Execute daily processes to triage non-compliance issues and create JIRA remediation tickets for technology support teams from reports out of Cloud Compliance monitoring tools.
- Contribute to security compliance strategy and target state operating models.
Qualifications
- A University or post-Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.
- Min 2+ years' experience in Cybersecurity and/or Infrastructure related projects as a Business Analyst and/or Systems Analyst.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of security controls/mechanisms and threat/risk assessment techniques pertaining to complex data, cloud, application, and networking environments.
- Experience and knowledge with organizational and self-directing skills – ability to initiate, coordinate and prioritize responsibilities and follow through on tasks to completion.
- An approach to work that includes initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, and discretion.
- Advanced problem solving/analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently on various assignments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform analysis and reporting on information from multiple data sources using data mining techniques for documenting analysis results, producing reports, and presenting to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Requirements Management Life Cycle (RMLC), System Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC), Business Requirements, Business Process Management (BPM), and Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) methodologies is a must.
- Demonstrate understanding in Enterprise IT operations, incident management, change management, Access/Identity Management, Security Operations, vulnerability and compliance management, ticketing systems, incident ticket life cycle, and SLA terms.
