Accounting Clerk

Your route

As a Accounting Clerk you will be responsible for handling various accounts payable, verification and filing within distribution center.

This is a regular full-time position located in Cambridge, ON.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Issuing credits to customers;
• Tracking claims for customers and the DC and following up on discrepancies;
• Verifying of all invoicing registers and making claims for variances and/or correcting the billing;
• Ensuring that processing activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with financial policies and procedures;
• Maintaining physical and electronic office filing systems;
• Ensures that processing activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with financial policies and procedures;
• Monitors outstanding invoices and accounts, investigates, and resolves any irregularities or enquiries.

To Join Our Team, You Need

• 1 – 2 years experience in a similar role, with a demonstrated solid understanding of accounting principles;
• Strong analytic, organisational, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting;
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks;
• Proven ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), as well as various accounting software.
