What You'll Do

  • Accurately enter data and process customs documentation to ensure timely clearance of shipments
  • Collaborate with clients, carriers, and customs authorities to resolve issues and facilitate trade
  • Research and prepare documentation required for government agencies to clear shipments
  • Track shipment status and provide timely updates to clients and partners
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customs entry rejections and discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations by reviewing and validating shipment information
  • Manage electronic files and ensure accurate record-keeping for all customs entries
  • Assist clients by providing guidance on customs procedures and tariff classifications
  • Participate in ongoing industry training to stay informed of regulatory changes


What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; industry certifications are an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or customs operations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a time-sensitive environment
  • Excellent communication skills for working with clients, partners, and customs officials
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other related software applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and the ability to apply them in daily operations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
