As a Student Starbucks Barista, not only will you play an important part in helping us prep food and follow safety guidelines, but you’ll master customer service and social skills! Job Responsibilities
- Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
- Prepare made to order food items
- Follows Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift
- Assist other members of the team when needed
- Light cash handling duties including processing guest transactions, counting cash, closing/opening registers, participating in cash audits
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Keep area clean at all times; manage waste
- May perform other job duties as required
- 1+ years’ experience working in the food and beverage industry
- Experience working for Starbucks franchise considered an asset
- Serve Safe and First Aid an asset
- Must be able to lift, push, pull min. 10lbs
