You will leverage your expertise in the automotive industry and customer service skills to drive sales, build partnerships, and ensure client satisfaction. Here's What You'll Be Doing

As the Commercial Account Manager – Fleet Department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our parts department. Your responsibilities will include:

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients, including small businesses, corporations, and lease management companies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet clients, understanding their business needs and offering customized vehicle and service solutions.

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively identify and pursue new commercial opportunities within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
  • Prepare and present proposals tailored to clients' specific fleet requirements, including financing, leasing, and service packages.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

Market Expertise & Consulting

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
  • Provide expert advice on vehicle options, configurations, and cost-saving strategies for fleet management.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their operational needs and recommend scalable fleet solutions.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with the dealership's finance, service, and parts teams to ensure seamless delivery and after-sales support.
  • Coordinate vehicle orders, deliveries, and customization requests to meet client expectations.

Client Retention & Satisfaction

  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Monitor fleet performance metrics and suggest enhancements to maximize efficiency.

You Need These Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in a sales or account management role, ideally in the automotive or fleet industry.
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
    • Ability to analyze client needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with fleet operations, vehicle specifications, financing options, and local market trends in Toronto.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and dealership management systems.
  • Licensing: Valid G-class driver’s license and clean driving record. Successful completion of Automotive Certification Course - OMVIC.
It would be nice if

  • You have a post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field
  • You have experience in high-end retail sales.
  • You're fluent in multiple languages, reflecting the diversity of our community.
  • You have a background in or passion for automotive technology and innovation.
  • Familiar with Ford Commercial Truck Basics.
