Pay Details: $76,800 - $115,200 CAD. This role is eligible for a discretionary variable compensation award that considers business and individual performance.

The Enterprise Protect is an enterprise-level body that strives to protect TD Bank Group customers, shareholders and employees from financial crimes and fraud. Aligned with TD strategy and risk appetite, Enterprise Protect develops and evolves enterprise policies, advanced analytics capabilities and operational processes to improve governance, oversight, and collaboration between fraud management and other control functions within the Bank.
The Canadian Performance Management (CPM) team operates within Enterprise Protect in a fast-paced environment requiring both strategic and tactical responses to changing fraud patterns.
Responsibilities
Fraud Management
- Accountable for fraud loss targets and the customer experience
- Reviews daily fraud attacks to create segmentation and develop/implement fraud strategies
- Strategizes on adjustments to shifting network rules, liability requirements or other exogenous factors
- Owns the strategy design and configuration in all fraud prevention platforms
- Supports case valuation and prioritization to optimize fraud management
- Provides ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making at the executive level
- Design champion/challenger strategies for ongoing improvement
- Conducts timely diagnostics to identify system, strategy and operational issues
- Participates in defect analysis to identify and remediate coverage gaps
- Provides end to end fraud cycle support to all strategy teams for advanced technical builds
- Identifies, tracks, and provides solutions to ongoing fraud vectors
Partner Support
- Works with business partners to understand new intent and identify incremental fraud risks
- Collaborates with business partners to develop solutions that minimize fraud risk
- Provides IT release support to ensure projects deliver on fraud requirements
- Supports continuous improvement for operational partners
- Maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree from a technical domain, preferably from a STEM program
- 2+ years' experience in an analytical capacity
- Experience with analytical software tools like Python, R, SQL
- In-depth knowledge of data science tools
- Understanding of machine learning methods
- Proven implementation record with automation tools
- Demonstrated analytical, modeling, and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate strategy analysis to technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to take initiative and work independently under tight timelines
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships
- Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
Preferable
- Experience in fraud management
- Knowledge of machine learning
- Experience with fraud detection platforms
