In this role, you will collaborate with experience designers, business strategists, engineers, data scientists and others to uncover insights, identify new opportunities, develop compelling value propositions and design solutions that are consumer driven, financially viable and technologically feasible.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team throughout all phases of project work, including client alignment, context understanding, developing non-obvious insights, exploring and defining opportunities, creating actionable/tangible design expressions, and helping clients go to market
  • Explore real-world problems using a combination of creative and analytical tools
  • Conduct consumer research to understand needs and challenges
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information to uncover meaningful insights
  • Identify opportunities to solve compelling consumer problems
  • Develop ideas for new products, services, and experiences that will engage consumers and contribute to business success
  • Validate ideas using both quantitative and qualitative approaches
  • Contribute to client meetings and presentations

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of experience using design thinking methods
  • BA/BS or post-graduate degree in a design or creative field (e.g., design, art, etc.); a field studying people’s behavior (e.g., anthropology, psychology, history, etc.); or an analytical field (e.g., engineering, business, economics, etc.)
  • Excellent presentation, communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in group settings, balancing taking direction with working independently
  • Exposure to consumer/user research and analysis, ideation, brainstorming techniques, sketching, prototyping, and concept visualization
