Position Summary

As a meticulous and organized Logistics Coordinator you will handle the administrative aspects of our warehouse operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate records, while ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse processes are followed.

This role is based in Port Kells (Surrey), BC.

As a Logistics Coordinator Your Key Accountabilities Will Involve

  • Assisting in monitoring and managing inventory levels by regularly conducting inventory checks and updates.
  • Ensuring accurate stock counts and supporting timely replenishment.
  • Ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time in our software system, coordinating with relevant departments as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
  • Preparing and generating reports on inventory status and order fulfillment.
  • Providing administrative support to the General Manager and operations including scheduling, data entry, and handling correspondence related to warehouse activities and billing.
  • Supporting the implementation of safety and environmental protocols and procedures.
  • Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and other departments, addressing queries and facilitating smooth communication regarding inventory and order statuses.
  • Maintaining the equipment maintenance schedule.
  • Coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs and servicing.

As a Logistics Coordinator Your Success Is Dependent On

  • The ability to anticipate problems and solve proactively.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to accurately follow safety procedures and protocols.

As a Logistics Coordinator your experience and qualifications will include:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge in the construction industry, equipment, tools, and warehouse is an asset
  • Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
  • Available to work extended hours as required
