Project Manager
Affinity

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Project Manager to lead an initiative to upgrade PIN pads used in retail locations. The project involves replacing outdated PIN pad models with approved devices to ensure compliance with PCI security standards. This will require collaboration with multiple external vendors and internal teams. Additional initiatives may be included, such as introducing gift card acceptance at point-of-sale and decentralizing payment processing to improve efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the project from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
• Develop and maintain project plans, risk assessments, and stakeholder communication
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including vendors and financial institutions
• Ensure compliance with PCI security standards and other regulatory requirements
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and governance committee presentations
• Oversee quality control, testing, and certification of new PIN pad solutions
•Support additional payment-related initiatives as required
Qualifications:
• Project Leadership: 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-scale IT projects
• Compliance & Security: Experience with PCI compliance and regulatory projects
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage and influence executive leadership and vendors
• Project Methodologies: Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with project management tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Project)
• Certification: PMP certification required
