Accounts Payable Clerk

They are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable, processing invoices, handling payroll entries, and performing a variety of accounting duties. Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices, scan packing slips, and enter data into system
• Perform weekly or daily filing of invoices and A/P documents
• Handle payroll entries to Sage, including reimbursements, fabrication, and labor hours
• Match Visa statements with receipts and prepare summary spreadsheets
• Calculate and post gas charges and process monthly invoices
• Investigate discrepancies related to purchase orders and invoices, ensuring timely resolution
• Handle vendor inquiries, complaints, and compliance requests (e.g., COI and WSIB) and update Sage
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Technical proficiency in Sage, and Timberscan is an asset
