About the role
As ATB Wealth’s next Platform Specialist III, you will support, administer, and maintain multiple systems including our key systems Salesforce and Dataphile. We are searching for a new team member to grow our collective expertise with strengths in technology, project oversight, relationship building, and communication.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist 3 to join our Platform Support team, playing a crucial role in driving key technology initiatives for Wealth Operations. This position will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our platform, supporting critical business processes, and contributing to the overall success of our ATB Wealth management services. You will be a key point of contact for resolving technical issues, implementing system enhancements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional support and maintain platform stability. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact our business and contribute to the evolution of our technology platform.
Accountabilities
- Responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and proactively identifying areas for improvement within our platform.
- Work closely with Operations teams, various internal ATB Groups, and end-users to understand their needs and translate them into effective solutions. This includes participating in project implementations, testing new releases, and developing comprehensive documentation.
- Acquire new knowledge and experience to expand your abilities and share your expertise with peers and partners.
- Provide support to leaders and team members across ATB Wealth by leveraging resources and relationships you build within ATB and with external partners.
Skills, experience & requirements
- A strong understanding of financial services, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage initiatives, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A strong understanding of various Wealth operational processes
- Hands-on experience with a variety of Wealth systems (Dataphile, Salesforce, Box, etc)
- The ability to understand complex systems and processes with many interrelated dependencies and purposes
- Experience overseeing Projects at a process level. Being able to prioritize, direct resources and document changes
- Management experience would be an asset
- Exceptional ability to learn new technology with little instruction
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- An aptitude for information management, spreadsheets and/or reporting
- 5+ years of related education, investment industry experience and/or system administration experience
