Position Overview

With your top-notch communication skills, you'll keep the LCT team in the loop while forging strong partnerships with colleagues, contractors, clients, and regulators. • Lead financial assessment and technical and operational review efforts to plan, design and execute projects.
  • Oversee project design and development to ensure stakeholder requirements are successfully implemented considering overall project safety, reliability and functionality.
  • Coordinate project phases to ensure they meet established scope, schedule, quality standards, and budget.
  • Perform site visits to track progress and inspect quality control of construction and manufacturing projects, potentially outside regular business hours.
  • Facilitate the efficient coordination of key task items to successfully meet project milestones by liaising with stakeholders.

What it takes:

  • A degree or diploma in Business, Technology or Engineering from an accredited post-secondary school plus five of Hydrogen, LNG or Natural Gas Transportation project development or related experience. Including design, construction, project coordination and business development.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
  • Proven project management skills, including managing schedules, purchase orders, resources and financial tracking.
  • Excellent attention to detail for preparing and analyzing budgets, estimates and feasibility studies.
  • Thorough knowledge of technical documents for preparing and evaluating codes, standards, procedures, guidelines, drawings, operation manuals and more.
  • Experience in initiating relationships and engaging with customers, consultants and low carbon fuels technology providers, producers, and developers.

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.

Our engaging workplace offers a wide range of challenging opportunities, while being safe, inclusive and diverse. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, while supporting life-long career development. We also encourage volunteerism and nourish the need to give back to your community.
