As a Mailroom-Office Services Clerk your responsibilities will include:

  • Main responsibilities include managing the local and overnight couriers/mail distribution – sending, receiving, and invoicing of (tracking and follow-up and ordering supplies)
  • Managing the postage machine and ensuring the postage machine and cerlox machines in the office are always fully operational and have sufficient supplies readily available
  • Responsible for replacing all copier/printer cartridges/toners, general maintenance of units and managing the supplies for Grant Thornton, 200 King Street West
  • Ensure all copy and supply rooms are fully stocked with paper, office stationery and office supplies and kept organized
  • Validation, review and GL coding of office services invoices
  • Assist with the setup and tear down for meetings/events for Doane Grant Thornton, 200 King Street West
  • Assisting colleagues with moving between offices/desks within the office
  • Assist at reception for back-up coverage as needed
  • Assist with kitchen duties/stocking as required/time permits
  • Other tasks as required

  • 3-5 years’ experience in providing office services support
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs
  • Previous experience working in a logistics/shipping/courier role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, in MS Office suite
  • High degree of attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional customer service attitude and professional presentation; energetic customer focused individual
  • Ability to demonstrate superior teamwork
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • Good communication (verbal, written) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise tact, discretion, confidentiality, and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated initiative and proven track record for attendance and reliability
  • Additional after hours may be required based on business needs
