Educational Assistant

Location: Joseph Welsh Elementary School

30 hours weekly

January 19, 2026 to June 29, 2026

Temporary position replacing a leave of absence.

The successful applicant will provide support to students in Kindergarten.

Desirable qualifications and attributes:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education is an asset.
• Experience or education in early childhood education or Kindergarten would be an asset
• NVCI or SIVA training would be considered an asset.
• Experience in supporting students with communication needs is an asset
• Comfortable working independently, with minimal guidance
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude
• Toileting and lifting may be required
