Your Tasks

The Senior Demand Planner owns the end-to-end demand forecast for assigned brand portfolios, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with business objectives. The role covers baseline, promotional, and new product forecasting and plays a critical role in S&OP, inventory optimization, and cross-functional alignment between Commercial and Supply Chain teams.

This position acts as a key business partner, combining strong analytical capability with influencing and facilitation skills to drive high-quality demand plans that support service level, inventory, and financial objectives.

Forecasting, System Excellence and KPIs Performance

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive SKU-level demand forecasts for assigned brand segments using OMP forecasting system covering a rolling 24-month horizon, leveraging analysis of large and complex datasets and incorporating intelligence- based adjustments from internal and external sources when applicable.
  • Create enrichments to statistical forecasts (generated by the Central team) with market and customer insights to improve accuracy and reliability of the forecast.
  • Own demand forecasting for all new products, including challenging launch volumes to ensure realistic pipeline fill and monthly consumption.
  • Plan promotional activities/Value Added Services (VAS) displays and adjust as needed.
  • Modify short-term forecasts weekly based on actual sales and service levels to support optimal supply planning decisions.
  • Maintain planning master data, correct history, manage product phase-in/phase-out dates, and assign like profiles.
  • Champion expertise in OMP system and processes; identify and implement best practices and process improvements.
  • Deliver and analyze monthly forecast performance metrics (Forecast Accuracy, Bias); identify root causes of errors and implement corrective actions.

S&OP, Annual Business Planning (ABP) and Business Alignment

  • Prepare and lead monthly S&OP meetings for designated brands, influencing consensus and enabling informed decision-making.
  • Reconcile demand forecast with the latest financial, sales and marketing plans, ensuring the demand forecast is aligned to the S&OP consensus forecast and supports reaching the company’s sales growth objectives.
  • Deliver ABP key planning inputs including launch, discontinuation, pipeline and cannibalization using seasonality factor and total phasing, and own decision making in growth assumptions on assigned brands.

Cross Collaboration and Inventory Optimization

  • Work closely with Brand Marketing, Sales, CoE Supply Planning, Value Added Services (VAS), Customer Service and Replenishment teams to ensure forecast accuracy and resolve demand changes.
  • Create an action an prioritization plan to overcome forseen stock shortages with CoE during business alignment of Planners process.

Your Profile

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in demand planning/sales forecasting or closely related experience, ideally in a Consumer Package Goods industry.
  • Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills; ability to lead discussions during S&OP meetings.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain concepts and their impact on business operations.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset and ability to lead change initiatives.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, fact-based decision maker and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to balance short-term urgencies with long-term transformation goals.
  • Experience tracking and achieving KPIs.
  • Proficiency in Excel and planning/ERP systems (SAP APO, OMP, JDA, or similar).
